Maintenance guidelines

1. Waiting period after installation
Wait at least 48 hours (sometimes up to 72 hours depending on temperature and humidity) before exposing the watch to moisture. Avoid water, rain, and high pressure during this curing period.

2. Cleaning the watch
Use a pH neutral cleaning product and a soft brush.
Avoid harsh chemicals, caustic cleaners, or solvents.
Use a soft microfiber cloth to avoid scratches.

3. Exposure and protection
Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Rinse off any contamination as soon as possible.

4. Gloss & Shine protective agents
Avoid petroleum based products.
Avoid products containing abrasives or silicone.

5. Remove
The crystal protector is removable without damage if done correctly.
See removal instructions

6. Lifespan & Inspection
Chaperon crystal protectors are designed for durability, but this requires proper maintenance. Check periodically for loose edges or damage.
